BMP Converter | Convert JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF to BMP Online
Convert JPG, PNG, WEBP, and GIF images to BMP online instantly. Fast, secure, high-quality client-side conversion with no upload required.
Convert JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and ICO images into uncompressed 24-bit Windows bitmaps (.bmp) in your browser. BMP output has no alpha channel, so transparent areas are filled with white, and file size grows with pixel count at about 3 bytes per pixel. Resize optionally, then download each .bmp or a ZIP of the batch; images never leave your device.

How to Convert Images to BMP
- 1
Upload your images
Drag and drop or click to select JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or ICO files (up to 5000x5000px each). You can add several at once.
- 2
Reduce the dimensions (optional)
Set a width, a height, or both; an empty field keeps the aspect ratio. Because BMP is uncompressed, halving both dimensions cuts the file to roughly a quarter of its size.
- 3
Write 24-bit bitmaps
Click Convert All. Each image is drawn onto a white background and stored as bottom-up 24-bit RGB rows padded to 4-byte boundaries, the classic layout Windows programs read.
- 4
Download your BMP files
Download each .bmp individually, or use Download All to grab every bitmap in a single ZIP archive.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Why would I use BMP instead of JPG or PNG?
- BMP stores raw pixel data, so it preserves every pixel exactly without compression artifacts. That makes it useful for legacy Windows software, embedded displays, and tools that expect plain bitmap input.
- Why is my BMP file so large?
- BMP keeps pixels uncompressed: 3 bytes per pixel plus a little padding per row. A 1920x1080 image therefore takes about 6 MB as BMP, while the same picture is typically a few hundred KB as JPG.
- Does BMP support transparency?
- Not in the 24-bit format this tool writes. Transparent pixels from PNG, WebP, GIF, or ICO sources are filled with white; convert to PNG or ICO instead if you need a transparent background.
- Which image formats can I convert to BMP?
- JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and ICO images, each up to 5000x5000 pixels.
